1. The college was established in the year, 1929 and affiliated to the State Board of Homoeopathic Medicine, Bihar, Patna by letter No. 11656-59, dated the 16th October, 1963 for D.M.S. Course only.

2. The Bihar homoeopathic Medical College was transferred by the Government of Bihar to the university of Bihar Muzaffarpur in the year, 1973 Vide letter No. 402, dated 10th April, 1973.

3. The college has been granted affiliation by the university of Bihar, Muzaffarpur for D.H.M.S (4 year), B.H.M.S. (5 1/2 years) and Graded Degree course (2 years) vide letter No. B/ 3859, dated 19th June, 1985.

4. The High level (Trandam) committee has recommended for this college is affiliated to Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur for B.H.M.S. Degree Course only
